Real estate has historically been and continues to be a featured practice area of the firm.  In addition to our finance and securitization specialties, our real estate lawyers handle a wide variety of sophisticated transactions, including purchase and sale, joint ventures and leasing of all types of properties.  We also represent of owners and financing firms in real estate workouts and bankruptcy matters and we advise on the real estate components of major mergers and acquisitions transactions.

Recent assignments include sophisticated hotel and housing complex developments, as well as the more standard residential and commercial property conveyencing.  The firm has also advised on a number of complex real estate joint ventures.  Our real estate practice expanded long ago from domestic to cross-border transactions and has grown to include real estate taxation.
